You can arrange a class for 60 minutes, 90 minutes or 120 minutes. If you need a longer class, then feel free to book another class right after the first one.
You can find a tutor by searching your tutoring requirements on our Tutor Search page. Our website will help you find the most fitting tutors for you on Int-learn depending on your search criteria.
After you have found a tutor you like, you can book a class by visiting their timetable and selecting the time-slot(s) that you would like. You can also send them a message before booking a class if you have any questions about their teaching.
When you are searching for a tutor, you can select your tutor’s preferred gender.

Your internet download and upload speeds must both be a minimum of 500 kbps. The faster the better. For more information, take a look at our Tech Specs page.
Prices will be shown on each tutor’s profile. The minimum price for an hour class is $50 USD/hr. The price will be slightly higher for tutors that have more experience or tutors that are highly popular.
You can select your tutor based on their tutor profile. You are also able to message a prospective tutor before you start a class so you can get a better sense of their teaching style. All Int-learn tutors are friendly and very engaging. If for some reason you do not like your tutor, then you are free to change to another tutor at any time!
Int-learn strives to provide the most elite tutors. However, sometimes you may find that you do not like your tutor. If this is the case, you can stop having classes with him or her and find a new tutor for the same course or subject. If you have a complaint to make, you can also email us at service@int-learn.com
Some tutors may give you homework. If you would like more homework material or would not like any homework, then inform your tutor. He or she will be very happy to accommodate your requests.
There is no limit! Take as many classes as you like.
Int-learn’s online classroom gives the student the option to toggle their webcam on or off. There is absolutely no requirement to use your webcam. However, voice is required (for obvious reasons).
When you tutor does not show up, please check your messages to see if he or she has sent you a message. Your tutor may send you a message in advance informing you they will be a few minutes late. When your tutor arrives late, they will add on that time at the end (for up to 10 minutes).
If you have been waiting for more than 10 minutes, you can leave the class. Please report the incident to us through the End Class function. We will refund your account for the full value of that class in credits. View our Cancellation Policy for more information.
In the event that you miss your booked class without rescheduling, you will have to pay the full price of the class. See our Cancellation Policy for more details.
To cancel a class, visit your calendar page, select the class you want to cancel, and click to cancel. See our Cancellation Policy for more details.
To reschedule a class, visit your calendar page, select the class you want to reschedule, and click to cancel. The next time you book a class with the same teacher, an option will appear to prompt you to use your cancellation credit(s) for the class(es). See our Cancellation Policy for more details.
To protect the privacy of both the tutor and student, Int-learn is strictly against the sharing of personal information on the Int-learn system.
Your tutor can guide you through your homework and help you to understand the concepts in your homework, however, he or she cannot do your homework for you! This may help you complete your homework sooner, but will not help you in the long run! As we are trying to help you prepare for your future, asking your tutor to do your homework for you is strongly prohibited.
If your tutor is able to help you with other subject(s), then he or she will be happy to do so. Show your thanks by leaving a positive comment and rating on their profile!
You can book recurring classes through our online booking system, which will reserve the tutor’s time for you. However, in order to do this, you will have to pay for the classes upfront.
Yes you can, but please do let the tutor know that you want to end class. The full price of the arranged class will still be deducted from your account. You can also submit a form to let us know of the reason for ending class early.
When this happens, please let us know by emailing service@int-learn.com! We will do our best to recruit a suitable tutor to meet your demands.
Currently, Int-learn utilizes a third party payment system. While this system accepts all major credit and debit cards, the system will charge your bank in New Taiwan Dollars. Thus, when your payment is deducted from your account, the actual amount charged will depend on the exchange rate that your bank or payment method of choice uses.
Int-learn only allows one account for each student. This is because we want to match you with the best possible tutor to cater to your needs. Therefore, your account must be a reflection of you, and not anyone else. Your sibling(s) and friend(s) are welcome to create their own accounts!
Students can update their profile information by logging into their accounts and going to account settings.
Once you have selected your username or email, you will not be able to change it.
You can change your profile by going to your account settings.
When this happens, you can visit the homepage and click reset your password via the login portal.
Yes, if you like your tutor, then feel free to share their profile with your friends. You can do so my copying the web address, following the ‘share’ feature on the tutor’s profile or sharing your tutor’s Tutor ID.
For privacy reasons we cannot supply any personal information of our tutors. If you wish to thank your tutor, the best way to do so is give them a very high rating, a nice comment on their profile, and even better, recommend your tutor to your friends!
Due to teaching quality concerns, Int-learn does not allow more than one student to have class with a tutor.
For the privacy of both yourself and the tutor, we do not allow student’s to add their tutors on Facebook, or on any other form of social media.
So far, Int-learn’s Online Classroom has been fully reliable and has rarely had issues. If you find that the Online Classroom is down and you cannot attend your class, let us know as soon as possible by emailing service@int-learn.com. In the event that you miss your class due to Int-learn facing technical difficulties, we are happy to refund the class.

You must be currently studying for a degree at an elite institution (see who we are looking for for reference), or already have a degree to tutor on Int-learn.
You must have graduated from high-school and be attending or have attended a global elite institution (see who we are looking for reference).
There is no minimum commitment to become a tutor, however once you are tutoring on the platform, you must be fully committed to your students at that time.

You will not need to find students, rather, they will be searching for you! We will help connect you to and match you with potential students!
The majority of students on Int-learn live in Asia. Nevertheless, Int-learn operates globally, and you can expect to teach students from all over the world.
Although it is preferred and may help your application, Int-learn does not require tutors to have prior teaching or tutoring experience. Int-learn uses its application process to determine which candidates possess the required attributes.
Int-learn always strives to finish interviewing and reviewing every applicant within a fortnight.

No! One of the great advantages of joining Int-learn as a tutor is that the hours are totally up to you. Do you want to teach for only a few hours a week? No problem! Want to work full-time, teaching eight hours a day? Then we say go for it! There is absolutely no limit for your teaching hours.
Some of your students might not have English as their first language. However, your students will all have reached a high level of fluency in English and should be able to understand the subject you are teaching them in English.
We strongly advise you to come prepared for each class. This will reflect highly on yourself and may improve your teaching performance ratings. However, there is no policy for preparation. If you feel you are very comfortable in a certain topic and can cover the topic to a high standard without the necessity to prepare any material, then you are free to do so. Alternatively, you can message your student through the messaging system to ask for his or her preference.
There is no requirement or policy on this. While some students prefer to be given exercises to practice on, others prefer to only work on the subject during class. You can message your student through the messaging system to ask for his or her preference.
No, you may not. We have a strict method of selecting our tutors, so we expect them to be present at all of their scheduled classes. If you cannot make it to a class, then please cancel the class following our Cancellation Policy guidelines.
No, this is not permitted. If this happens, please remind them kindly. If the student fails to comply, then you may leave the classroom. Please also email us to let us know at service@int-learn.com.
Int-learn does not currently provide the tutor with any teaching materials or modules. It is up to the tutor to provide their own materials and be familiar with the course syllabus.
Int-learn tutors’ performances are reviewed quarterly. We review key indicators as well as teaching hours completed. For more information, see Payment.
Currently, we pay our tutors through bank transfer. Tutors will need to fill out their bank account details under their account settings. They can then request withdrawals when they wish to receive payment, and Int-learn will transfer the money ASAP.

Discussing payment with the student is not necessary, and is actually prohibited. The payments happen automatically through the system.
Int-learn’s payment system is currently calculated in New Taiwan Dollars. When students pay money into the system it is exchanged into New Taiwan Dollars. Therefore, when we transfer your payment, it is exchanged from New Taiwan Dollars to your currency through your bank. Thus, the exact amount you receive will depend on the exchange rate that your bank uses.
